Odisha cadre IAS officer to be President secretary

BHUBANESWAR: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Thursday named 1987-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer Rajesh Verma as secretary to President Droupadi Murmu.

A graduate in electrical engineering, Verma, a resident of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, is currently the secretary of the Union ministry of corporate affairs as part of his service under central deputation. He will replace Kapil Dev Tripathi in his new assignment.
