‘Nadda visit part of BJP’s bid to topple BJD govt in 2024’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP co-in-charge and MP Vijay Pal Singh Tomar here on Tuesday said party president J P Nadda’s forthcoming visit to the state holds special significance as the saffron party is preparing to topple the BJD-led government here in 2024.
“The BJP president has been touring all the states. However, his two-day visit to Odisha is special as we are preparing for the 2024 elections. Our target is to form the government here. Workers from the grassroots level are gearing up for the polls. We are certain that the BJP will come to power in 2024,” Tomar said.
On the first day of his visit, Nadda is scheduled to address party workers. On the second day, he will address workers of BJP’s frontal organisations. State BJP president Samir Mohanty said party workers are looking forward to Nadda’s visit.
