Miscreants murder former samiti member in Koraput

KORAPUT: Armed miscreants murdered a former samiti member of Anta in Jeypore block yesterday. The deceased was identified as Ram Krushna Pujari, 42, of Kalsahandi village under Jeypore Sadar police limits.
Sources said around 10 to 13 people attacked Pujari in a forested area near Gheuri, about 30 km from Koraput, around 7.30 am while he was returning home after dropping his wife in school."The miscreants attacked him with sharp-edged weapons. He was declared brought dead Jeypore hospital," said IIC of Jeypore Sadar police station Govind Buruda.
He said Pujari's wife has filed complaints against 15 people of the village. His wife has stated that the murder was a fallout of previous rivalry, he said. tnn
