Miscreants assault theatre staff
Bhubaneswar: A group of miscreants unleashed terror at the Maharaja film hall, barely 100 metres from Saheed Nagar police station here late Wednesday night, assaulting theatre staff and vandalising vehicles belonging to moviegoers. The incident came to light on Thursday evening following the arrest of two suspects.The trouble began when the unruly youths passed indecent remarks at women inside the theatre, prompting intervention by the staff. The situation quickly escalated into violence. "We have arrested two men and are searching for others. The attackers are believed to be from a nearby slum," said an officer from Saheed Nagar police station.
