Rourkela: IndiaOne Air on Sunday pledged a job for the son of passenger Susanta Kumar Biswal, who succumbed during treatment on Saturday, following the recent crash-landing incident in Rourkela.
The CEO of IndiaOne Air declared on Sunday that a job would be given to the son of Susanta Kumar Biswal (47). The CEO has also reportedly told the family members of the deceased that Rs 4.5 lakh and insurance would be provided to them as per rule.

Biswal was a crane supervisor and a resident of Vedvyas Nadiatola area of the city. Only son of his parents, Biswal is survived by wife and two sons, aged 22 and 15 years. His elder son studies MCA in a private institute at Bhubaneswar and his younger son is a Class X student. His mother also stays with the family.
Biswal had reportedly gone to Bhubaneswar for treatment and was on his way back to Rourkela with his sister, Anita Sahu, on Jan 10 by the nine-seater IndiaOneAir and following a technical glitch, the plane scraped a high-tension wire and force-landed in a field at Kainser village near Gadiatola of Jalda, a block, around 10 km from Rourkela. All four passengers, including Biswal, and the two pilots suffered injuries.
On Sunday, Biswal’s family members and relatives reached the hospital, where his body had been kept in the morgue. They demanded that IndiaOne bear the study expenses of Biswal’s two children and a job for his elder son apart from monthly compensation for the family.
The CEO of IndiaOne Air has also informed on Sunday that wreckage of the aircraft would be cleared and transported to Bhubaneswar within the next two to three days. He also said that a detailed investigation into the incident is currently underway and the interim investigation report is expected to come out within a month.
