IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ahmedabad launch AI4Odisha initiative to empower MSMEs

Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur, in collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad, launched the AI4Odisha initiative recently to promote artificial intelligence-led growth among MSMEs, traders and local entrepreneurs.More than 350 industry delegates from western Odisha took part in the programme, where the initiative was launched through a workshop titled ‘AI for Business Growth: From Local Markets to National Reach’. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan virtually inaugurated it.The workshop focused on practical applications of AI for small businesses, including customer assessment, business operations, supplier management and market expansion.OAV students shineStudents of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan performed impressively in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination 2025-26 in both science and commerce streams. Total 4,721 students from Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas appeared in the science stream exam, notching a pass percentage of 73.5, slightly higher than last year’s 72%. As many as 112 students scored above 90% marks.DPS Kalinga cheersDelhi Public School (DPS) Kalinga students secured high scores across humanities, commerce and science streams in the CBSE Class XII exams. Jhalak Mishra topped humanities with 97.8%, Naitik Jain the commerce with 95.2% and Aaryan Gupta science with 94.8%. Pro vice-chairperson Mala Mishra and principal Suvabrata Mukherjee praised students for their hard work and dedication.
