Bhubaneswar: State Congress legislature party’s leader
Narasingha Mishra here on Sunday said the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra has been receiving tremendous response in the country.
“Our political opponents have been criticising Rahul ji. The main objective of the Bharat Jodo Yatra is not the 2024 general election neither has it got anything to do with grabbing power.
The objective of the yatra to unite the people of the country. The
BJP and the RSS are spreading violence and hatred,” Mishra said in a statement.
Mishra also hit out at the Centre and the BJD government for allegedly failing to address the issues of poverty and unemployment during the pandemic. “The poverty and shared prosperity report, released by World Bank, portrays a sorry picture of poverty and unemployment in the country. In the coming elections, people should vote out the BJD and BJP,” he added.
