He stated that this centre has earned a bad name for irregular appointment for many years and has crossed all limits. He alleged that director of RMRC is making appointments and handing out promotions arbitrarily, seriously violating the service rules of ICMR. All this is happening with the knowledge and approval of the council, he added.
Tarai further alleged that the council is being biased by the regional authority and does not like to protect the service conditions of the sincere, efficient, experienced and eligible staff serving for more than 20 years and now at their fag end of their services are being deprived of higher posts. He also enclosed a photostat copy of the relevant letter which has highlighted some of the irregular appointments.
