Five collectors transferred

BHUBANESWAR: The state government on Saturday transferred the district collectors of Keonjhar, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda. While Keonjhar collector Balwant Singh was shifted to Sambalpur, Jharsuguda collector B P Sahoo was posted as Keonjhar collector.
Bhadrak collector A K Pani was appointed additional secretary, water resources, while additional secretary, higher education, L N Mishra was made the new Bhadrak collector. Kendrapada collector D P Behera would replace Mishra, while additional secretary, water resources, Niranjan Behera would succeed Behera. Sambalpur collector P K Rath would join as personal secretary to the Governor, replacing Niranjan Sahu, who would take over as Jharsuguda collector.
