DM School celebrates 50 years

BHUBANESWAR: It was a trip down the memory lane for alumni of Demonstration Multipurpose (DM) School, which celebrated its golden jubilee here on Saturday.
Set up in 1964, the school was set up to demonstrate the new secondary school curriculum designed and sponsored byNCERT. Over the years the school has produced many eminent personalities of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, former vice-chancellor of BPUT Omkar Nath Mohanty emphasised on computer education among youth. President of DMS Alumni Association Saroj Sahu said, "We have started some initiatives for development of the school."
Among others, CMD of Nalco Anshuman Das, DGP Prakash Mishra, chairman of SAI International School B K Sahoo and headmaster of D M School Akhileswar Mishra were present.
