The new 350-bed hospital, the 49th branch of the group, has come up over 7.5 acres along the Sainik School Road here at an investment of Rs 120 crore. Apollo group chairman P C Reddy informed the new hospital would house over 50 specialties and super specialties and offer all major solutions to healthcare problems.
Apart from treatment facilities in 30 major departments including cardiology, the hospital would have telemedicine network linking with other hospitals of the group, he said.
Our Bhubaneswar hospital will be one of the best with several modern treatment facilities, Reddy said and announced that as a philanthropic measure the group would conduct cardiology operation of 50 children free of cost.
Naveen promised all kinds of government support to the hospital for offering better healthcare facilities to the people. Health and family welfare minister Prasanna Acharya was present.
