BHUBANESHWAR: BJP’s Odisha unit will collect suggestions from one crore people in the state to prepare election manifesto (Sankalp Patra). It will deploy two campaign vehicles for each parliamentary constituency for collecting suggestions and opinions from people.
BJP state president Manmohan Samal while launching the Sankalp Patra campaign here on Sunday said they will bring suggestions and opinions from people before preparing the election manifesto of the party.
1x1 polls

“People can suggest to our party about doubling farmer’s income, solutions for issues of migrant workers, what should be the policy of govt for chit fund issues, steps for women empowerment and what welfare schemes should be framed for people after BJP comes to power again,” said Samal.
He said the campaign vehicles will visit the assembly constituencies under Lok Sabha seats till March 15 and collect the suggestions and opinions. People can put their suggestion letter in a box kept in the campaign vehicles. They can also give their suggestions through NaMo App and BJP helpline number.
People can give suggestions for development of both India and Odisha at a time. “Narendra Modi-led govt has kept 222 out of 235 promises made during the 2019 general election. This time also we will keep our promises and solve the people’s issues,” said Samal.
He said the BJP is working for the development of the country. “India will be a developed nation by 2047. For this, Odisha will also play a vital role like other states and Union territories. To achieve this feat, we need suggestions from people,” he added.
The campaign vehicles will visit the assembly constituencies from Monday. The vehicles will have LED screens along with a cut-out of prime minister Modi. Videos about the PM's vision, purpose and programmes will be played on the screens, said the party’s state president during a press conference here.
