Bhubaneswar: Name of the next state BJP president will be announced after April 14, following the visit of the party's national president, JP Nadda, to the state on April 12, BJP MP Sukant Panigrahi said this on Saturday. BJP, state unit, will review the party's position thoroughly during Nadda's visit.
The announcement comes at a crucial time as the BJP looks to strengthen its foothold in the state ahead of upcoming panchayat elections. The selection of the new state president is seen as a strategic move to revitalise the party's presence in Odisha. Party insiders said the leadership change could bring fresh perspective and energy to the state unit's operations and electoral preparations.
