KENDRAPADA: Forest officials on Sunday arrested two poachers for killing 14 migratory birds by feeding them crops laced with poison.

The incident took place at Julusunagar village in Bhitarkanika National Park on Saturday. They were identified as Radhika Maiti (38) and Murali Das. "We have seized the carcasses of four ruddy shelduck and 10 lesser whistling ducks," said Manas Das, range officer of the park.
