Youth booked for molesting and assaulting 22-yr-old

Bhopal: A youth was booked for allegedly molesting and assaulting a 22-year-old girl in Hanumanganj locality on Sunday late night. Police said that the survivor, 22, resides with her family in Hanumanganj. She stated in her complaint that on Sunday around 11 pm, the accused Prince Panthi, who resides close to her home, waylaid her way and made lewd gestures at her. When the survivor ignored, the accused came closer over which she protested. Police said that the accused allegedly hurled abuses at her. When the survivor protested again, the accused allegedly assaulted her in public. The girl sustained multiple injuries and rushed home. Subsequently, the survivor along with her family approached Hanumanganj police station on Sunday to file a complaint against him. The accused was booked on charges of molestation and further investigations are underway. tnn
