Youth arrested for teenaged girl's abduction

BHOPAL: A youth was arrested for reportedly abducting a girl on April 1. A case in this regard was registered in Nishatpura police station on Monday. Police said the teenaged girl, a resident of Housing Board Colony, was abducted by a youth, Rehan. He took her with him to Bhadbada, but on learning that her family had lodged a police report, he left her and fled.Later, somehow the girl managed to reach home. Police said the accused was booked for harassing the victim in the past also.
Girl missing: A student of class VIII went missing from Ratibad area on Monday. Police said the minor girl of village Pipalia studied in a school at Ratibad. She had gone to the school to appear in an exam, however, when he did not return, her parents lodged a missing person report.
