Woman molested by stalker in her home

Bhopal: A 35-year-old man allegedly barged into the home of a 40-year-old married woman and molested her in Talaiya on Thursday. The accused had been stalking her and passed lewd gestures at the survivor for the past one-and-a-half years. Investigating Officer SI Gabbar Singh said that the survivor, a resident of Talaiya, stated in her complaint that on Thursday around 3.30 pm, when her husband had gone out for work and brother-in-law and daughter were at her mother-in-law’s home in the neighbourhood, the accused Danish Khan, who resides close to her home, allegedly barged into her home and molested her while she was busy in household work. The SI said that when the woman raised an alarm for help and her brother-in-law rushed back home, the accused fled the spot. Subsequently, she approached Talaiya police station to file a complaint against him. The survivor alleged that the accused had been stalking her for the past one-and-a-half years.
