BHOPAL: The state capital has been witnessing heavy rain in many of its parts over the past few days. After weeks of scorching sun, it has brought the much needed relief to the citizens. Though it was continuously raining in
Citizens woke up to a rainy day with showers at regular intervals. Many were caught unawares by the continuous rain and took shelter under trees or cafes, trying not to get drenched.

Vikas Khatri, a student, said, “Colleges have just started and we are slowly getting used to the routine. Days like this gives us an opportunity to relax after college before heading home.”

Shobha Sen, a city resident, said: “We were planning to go to the park for a very long time, but had to cancel because of the hot weather that had made it impossible to go out even in the evenings.
