Imagine a building more than a hundred years old, home to the royals and now highest disciplined government officials opening its gates to the common public. Sounds unreal? The governor of Madhya Pradesh Shrimati Anandiben Patel opened the gates of her residence, Raj Bhawan—the governor house of Madhya Pradesh for the first time to the public. The three days saw a huge crowd in and out of the magnificent Raj Bhawan. From kids walking hands in hands with parents to people as old as in their late seventies came to visit the residence. It has been for the first time in the history that such initiative is taken by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. With decorations all over the place, the scenario was not less than any carnival. We visited the opulent Bhawan with a group of people from different walks of life, read on to find out their experiences.
