Two women raped in Kolar & Bairagarh

Bhopal: A 34-year-old woman was raped on the pretext of marriage for around 12 years. The survivor alleged that she has a 9-years old daughter with the accused and now he was refusing to marry her. Police said that survivor alleged that accused had been raping her since 2010 on the promise of marriage. Around six months back, the accused took survivor to a house in Baskhedi area in Kolar, where he allegedly raped survivor in front of her friend and assaulted her.On the complaint of survivor a rape case was registered on Wednesday and further investigation are underway.
In another incident reported at Bairagarh police station, a 53-year-old woman was raped by an acquaintance for 20 years. Investigating Officer SI Priyanka Rai said that the woman was in contact with accused Ajeet Parmani since 1995. In her complaint she alleged that accused was threatening and raping her since 2002. Recently, on March 6, the accused approached her home and assaulted the woman over some issue. TNN
