Two women molested in 24 hours

BHOPAL

: In the past 24-hours, two separate cases have been filed by — one by a lawyer and the other by a married woman — at two different police stations. Police have launched probes and the accused in both the cases are at large.


In the first incident that took place under the area of Kamla Nagar police station, a 20-year-old married woman was allegedly molested on Sunday night when her husband had gone on duty. Police said the accused is known to her. Investigation officer ASI Haseen Khan said that the victim alleged in her complaint that accused Sabu alias Sahabuddin, a resident of Rahul Nagar locality, allegedly barged into her house when she was alone. In his attempt accused allegedly grabbed her hand. As victim raise for help her neighbours rushed towards her house after which the accused fled spot. The victim filed the complaint after her husband reached home.

In the area under Kohefiza police station, 38-year-old married lawyer was allegedly molested by a man near Lalghati. the incident took place when was going to meet her client. Mahila Thana registered zero FIR case after victim filed the complaint. As the incident took place at Lalghati, the victim’s file was sent to Koh-e-Fiza police station on Monday.
