BHOPAL: Two 16-year-old girls were allegedly molested by stalkers in two different incidents in Nishatpura on Tuesday.
Nishatpura police said that two separate cases have been registered under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act.
Police said that the complainant in the first case is a Class 8 student and has a part-time job. In July 6, she was returning home from work when accused

When she protested, the accused tried to drag her to a deserted lane. The girl managed to escape from his clutches, rushed home and narrated the incident to her family members. When his family members called the accused, he started apologising. The family members and the girl ignored his act and did not report the matter to police. However, the accused approached near her home again on Tuesday evening and started calling her again. He started making gestures at her and called her. Subsequently, the girl decided to approach the police and lodged a complaint.
Around the same time in the locality, a man allegedly barged into a doctor’s clinic on Tuesday in which two minor girls were getting trained as nurses. The accused molested one of the girls and when she protested, he assaulted both the girls. Subsequently, the case was reported to police.
Police said that the survivor, a student of Class 9, has joined a clinic to get basic nurse training. She alleged that on Tuesday around 6pm, she had gone to the clinic. The doctor had gone out for some work so she along with another girl was alone at the clinic.
Accused Ajay Ahirwar, who resides in the neighbourhood of the clinic, barged into the clinic and molested her. When she protested and the other girl rushed to help her, the accused assaulted them and fled the spot. Further investigations in both the cases are on , Nishatpura police said.
