Truck snuffs out businessman’s life near Bhopal

BHOPAL: A 48-year-old businessman died in a road accident on Bhopal-Vidisha Road on Monday night. A case was registered at Sukhi Sewania police station.
The man, identified as Mrigendra Sharma, was a resident of Rohit Nagar in Shahpura and was a businessman.
He was returning from Lucknow with his accountant Raja Thakur when their car collided head-on with a truck near Bhadbhada village in Bhopal district.Sharma sustained serious injuries on chest from steering wheel.
The two were rushed to hospital where Sharma was declared dead and Thakur was discharged after giving first-aid. Police said the unidentified driver abandoned the truck and ran away from the spot.
Sharma has wife and two sons, who study in colleges. He had gone to meet a friend in Lucknow. Sharma was driving the vehicle and efforts are on to nab erring truck driver, police said.
