Student dies after fall from ten-storey building in Bag Sewania

Bhopal: A 19-year-old engineering student died after allegedly falling from the terrace of a ten-storey building at Ashima Divine City Colony in Bag Sewania on Thursday.
Bag Sewania SHO Amit Soni said the deceased, Vishwajeet Tiwari, hailed from Vidisha district's Ganjbasoda, and recently enrolled at a private engineering college in Bhopal.
The SHO said Tiwari went to the terrace of the building around 6 am for a morning walk.As he found its gate locked, he tried to climb a wall to access the terrace. In the process, he slipped and fell to the ground, sustaining fatal injuries. CCTV cameras installed in the building captured the moment when Tiwari fell from the building, Soni said.
A case was registered, and the body was handed over to his family after a postmortem. His parents left for Ganjbasoda with the body. Tiwari, who used to live with his family in a duplex at Ashima Divine City, was the family's lone child, and his death has left his family devastated.
The officer said they couldn't question his parents considering their current mental and emotional conditions. Their statements would be recorded once they return from Ganjbasoda, Soni added.
