BHOPAL: Unlike class 12, cut-throat competition for marks among students of Bhopal was witnessed in CBSE class 10 results declared on Friday. This could be gauged from the fact that there was a difference of only 0.02% among the top toppers.
Topper students said that they did not limit themselves to academics only to score good marks. City topper Prakamya Siddh Balot said that his involvement in co-curricular activities helped him score good marks.
"I think students should keep themselves involved in other activities also so that they can refresh their focus regularly. My success mantra was that I never limited myself to academics only," said Prakamya. He scored 99.4%.
Another topper Saylee Deshpande said that discipline also played an important role in scoring good marks. "There must be a balance in the day's activities. Besides, the support of the teachers and family makes a big difference. My father told me to always go best. Rest is your destiny," said Saylee. Both students are students of DPS, Neelbad.
The competition for every mark was such that the second topper scored 99.2%. Nishtha Gupta scored 99.2% who is a student of DPS Kolar. Shrutika Jain of SPS Gandhi Nagar scored 98.8%. Shrishti Garg of Carmel Convent, BHEL scored 98.6%.
Congratulating the students, principals said that it is the sheer dedication of the students that has helped them score good marks.
