BHOPAL: MP’s para canoer
Prachi Yadav will appear for her event at the
Tokyo Paralympic Games
on Thursday morning.

Prachi is confident of winning a medal.
India’s only para-canoe in the tournament, Prachi told TOI over phone: “I am getting the timing of around 1.04 minutes, which is enough to get a medal in the event. I will put my best foot forwar.”

Notably, Prachi was a champion para-swimmer for India, but switched to paracanoe on the insistence of Thakur, who realised that she had a better chance of getting to Paralympics.
