Three rob man of Rs 10,000 & mobile in Bhopal

BHOPAL: Three men in an auto-rickshaw allegedly waylaid a bike-borne man and robbed him of his cash and mobile phone near Comfort Park Colony in Ayodhya Nagar on Friday night. Complainant Umesh Prasad, 45, a resident of Arjun Nagar, runs a fabrication business.

Ayodhya Nagar police said that a case has been registered on charges of loot. SHO Ayodhya Nagar Nilesh Awasthi said that Umesh was going to a medical store when a speeding auto-rickshaw driver came from behind and stopped in front of his bike. Before he could understand anything, three accused got down from the auto-rickshaw and started manhandling him. They robbed his mobile phone along with his wallet carrying cash Rs 10,000 and fled the spot.

SI Awasthi said that police scanned footage of CCTVs in the area.
