Three arrested for looting patwari in MP's Dhar district

Gandhwani police in Dhar district have arrested three persons from Jirabad who had looted a patwari last week, Dhar SP Aditya Pratap Singh told reporters at police control room on Saturday afternoon.

DHAR: Gandhwani police in Dhar district have arrested three persons from Jirabad who had looted a patwari last week, Dhar SP Aditya Pratap Singh told reporters at police control room on Saturday afternoon.
He said that patwari Vikas Damle posted at Gandhwani was going to Manawar on his motorcycle last week. Two bikeborne persons stopped him near Amaldamal village.

One of them attacked him while the another one snatched the bag Damle was carrying with him. Their third accomplice reached there as well and all three of them fled with the bag.
A case of loot against unidentified persons was registered and a reward of Rs 10,000 was announced on any information about the accused.
CCTV footages of the route were scanned and police got a clue that two of the accused were standing at Jirabad bus stand. Accused Suresh of Pipalda and Ramesh of Jamli were taken into custody and on their statements, their aide Kalu Banwari was arrested from Jirabad village.
The accused are being questioned and will be produced in the court.
