Teen sexually harassed in Hanumanganj

Bhopal: A minor 16-year-old girl was allegedly being stalked and sexually harassed by two neighbours, who are real brothers, and their friend in Hanumanganj locality for the past couple of years. Terrified, the survivor did not reveal about the incident to anybody in her family. However, when the accused misbehaved with her father, she narrated her ordeal to her parents.
Subsequently, the family approached Hanumanganj police station on Friday and lodged a complaint under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act.
Investigation officer SI Kanchan Rajput said that the survivor, is a student of Class 10. She stated in her complaint that accused Shahrukh, his brother Shadab and Shadab’s friend Babbi had been harassing her for the past couple of years. Shahrukh also passed obscene comments at her and touched her inappropriately, she alleged. tnn
