, Neelbad, told TOI that a separate timetable is being prepared for board students and teachers are sending them lectures on a regular basis.“We have stated regular classes for students of Classes 10 and 12. Teachers prepare online videos and send them to students to watch. Each day students are given lectures on three subjects, while for primary and middle school, teachers are sending reading assignments for students to keep them busy,” said Malik. Sagar Public School has also started online classes for students of Class 12, focussing on the core subjects of each stream.
“As video lectures consume a lot of data, we have only started online classes for students of Class 12. Teachers have been provided with a timetable according to which they prepare a video lecture that is shared through an educational app. Other classes are being given regular assignments,” said Pankaj Sharma, principal of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar branch.
Rajesh Sharma, principal of Bal Bhawan School told TOI that they have made channels for students of nursery to Class 12 on a prominent online video platform where teachers upload the videos and share the link with students.
“As students can access the online videos any time, we decided to keep it simple. Students are also enjoying the online classes and doing their homework. We have also designed a Google form for students of Class 10 who will be promoted to Class 11 to choose their respective streams. Once we have the feedback, we will start the classes for students of Class 11 too”, said Sharma. With the surprise vacation for schoolkids and work from home for parents, it’s family bonding time at home. Board games are favourites.
