Bhopal: A 20-year-old student died while his friend escaped with minor injuries after he lost control over the bike and rammed into a divider at a private college in Katara Hills on Wednesday.
Investigating Officer ASI Dhanraj Singh said that the deceased
Shubham Singh, a native of Ghazipur, Uttar-Pradesh, was a first year student of BPharma at a private college in Katara Hills.
He was residing in the college hostel. ASI Singh said that on Wednesday around 2 pm
Shubham left college along with a classmate Anuj Singh to have lunch on a bike. Around 3 pm, when he returned inside college campus via
gate number 1, riding his friend’s bike, he lost control at a turn and rammed into a divider before hitting a tree. “Anuj along with other friends, who were following their bike, rushed Shubham to a nearby private hospital, where he succumbed to his internal injuries,” said ASI Singh. TNN
