Student dies as bike hits BRTS railing

BHOPAL: An engineering student died when a mobike he was riding rammed BRTS corridor railing near Barkatullah University, on Sunday night. The youth, Abhay Kumar Singh, 21, son of Devpratap Singh, who was a native of Bihar, was living in a rented house at MIG-401, Sagar Abhinav Heights at Jaatkhedi. His friend Preetesh sustained severe injuries in the accident.
Abhay was pursuing BE from IES Group engineering college on Ratibad Road.
The incident took place around 1:30am when Abhay and Preetesh, who were riding the motorcycle, lost control after crossing Narayan Nagar and hit the BRTS corridor, police said. tnn
