when the incident took place. Acting on complaint, Kolar police registered a case against unidentified accused and started investigations.
Police said that the complainant Subhash Yadav, 52, a resident of E-Block in

Drishti City

in Kolar, works as a stamp vendor. He along with his family had gone to Hoshangabad on May 9 to attend the wedding function of his brother-in-law’s daughter.
When they returned home on Tuesday afternoon, they spotted that the locks on the main door were broken and the house was ransacked. When they checked they found that the jewellery kept in the

almirah

was missing. He found that the iron safe kept in the room was broken and cash Rs 2 lakh were missing.
Acting on his complaint, police registered a case and started investigations. The victim would provide a list of stolen jewellery to police to assess its cost.
