BHOPAL: A 25-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Nishatpura area on Thursday afternoon. No suicide note was recovered, but it came to light that a theft had taken place at her house around one and half months back and she had been depressed since then.
Police said Bharti Yadav resided with her husband in a rented house in Panchwati colony.
She married Vijay around four years back and the couple has a two-year-old daughter. Vijay works as a mason.
Police said the neighbours spotted Bharti hanging in the house around 4 pm and informed her husband about the incident. Later they informed the police.
Police said no suicide note was recovered from the spot, but Vijay told cops that a theft had taken place in which around Rs 15,000 were stolen from their house around one and a half months back and since then Bharti used to remain depressed. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
