Shepherd arrested for sexually assaulting 14-year-old in Bhind

Bhopal: A 25-year-old shepherd was arrested for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on Tuesday in Bhind district.The incident took place in the evening hours, when the minor, a class 9 student, had left her home for defecation. She was attacked by the accused, who was grazing goats in the area.According to Umri police, due to the accused's assault, the minor was severely injured.After the assault, the girl returned home and informed her family. Her father reported the crime to the police. Following the complaint, police apprehended the accused and registered a case under Pocso Act.
