BHOPAL: Information session on Oxbridge academic programmes was held at Swami Vivekanand Library here on Sunday. Oxbridge alumni and former students of city schools addressed the event.
Oxbridge is a summer academic programme run jointly by Oxford and Cambridge Universities in Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews, Paris, Montpellier, Barcelona, New York, and Los Angeles.

Three Oxbridge alumni - Hiya Deshpande, Ishita Sharma and Devanshi Khetrapal addressed an enthusiastic bunch of students from classes 8-12 at SVL.
They informed students that every year, Oxbridge courses commence in September. If students want to enroll for a good course, they should apply before December.
They said that these courses required not only a good academic record, but also achievements in extracurricular activities and every year, barely 10 students from India get shortlisted for courses due to tough competition.
However, Oxbridge offered the best of foundation courses taught by Rhodes, Gates and Fulbright scholars and also offered scholarships to some selected students every year based on their academic performance, they added.
