Rs 1lakh withdrawn on other's ATM card

BHOPAL: In an incident of fraudulent withdrawal using ATM card, unidentified accused withdrew a sum of Rs 1 lakh. A case was registered at Piplani police station on Tuesday. The police said complainant Pramod Jain had gone to branch of a private bank on June 17. However, he lost his ATM card along with the password. Later he got a message on his mobile that Rs 1 lakh cash was withdrawn from the account.Subsequently, he approached the bank and the police. CCTV footage of a man was recovered from the ATM counter from which the money was withdrawn, the police added.

Chain-snatching: A woman was relieved of her gold chain in Khajuri area on Wednesday. The police said complainant Mukesh Yadav was going with his wife Rani and son on a two-wheeler from Bairagarh to Sehore when two mobike-borne accused snatched his wife's gold chain and fled the scene.
