BHOPAL: Human Rights Day will be observed on December 10 by creating awareness about the importance of human rights in rural pockets of the state. Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission's acting chairman Justice A K Saxena will visit Phanda block on city outskirts.
Saxena would lend ear to grievances of local villagers and apprise them of how the commission takes action in cases of human rights violation.

The objective is to establish a two-way communication with villagers so that they can know how to protect and stand up for their human rights, said joint director (PR) Rohit Mehta.
