Rewa election results 2024 live updates: BJP's Janardan Mishra wins
NEW DELHI: Janardan Mishra of the Bharatiya Janata Party emerged victorious, securing 477,459 votes and defeating his nearest rival, Neelam Abhay Mishra of the Indian National Congress, by a margin of 193,374 votes. Neelam Abhay Mishra received 284,085 votes.
Other candidates in the fray included Adv. Abhishek Master Buddhsen Patel of the Bahujan Samaj Party, who obtained 117,221 votes, and several independent candidates such as Dayashankar Pandey (4,610 votes), Roshan Lal Kol (4,122 votes), Er. Devendra Singh of the Sapaks Party (4,076 votes), Er. Ram Kumar Soni (3,873 votes), Ram Gopal Singh of the Peoples Party of India (Democratic) (3,509 votes), Prassan Jeet Singh (3,313 votes), Janardan Mishra (2,295 votes), Ranjan Gupta of the Rashtravadi Bharat Party (2,160 votes), Vipin Singh Patel of the Rashtriya Hind Ekta Dal (1,806 votes), Arunendra Narayan Pandey (1,551 votes), and Arun Tiwari 'Mintu' (1,113 votes).
The NOTA (None of the Above) option received 6,936 votes.
Rewa Lok Sabha constituency, situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is one among the 29 parliamentary constituencies in the region. The polling date for the Rewa Constituency was scheduled for April 26, phase 2 of the Lok Sabha election.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on March 16.

The prominent candidates include Janardan Mishra from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Smt. Nilam Mishra from the Indian National Congress.
The 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Rewa saw a highly competitive contest. Janardan Mishra, the BJP candidate, emerged victorious in this election with a substantial margin of 3,12,807 votes, defeating Siddharth Tiwari "Raj" of the INC, who received 2,70,938 votes.
During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s Janardan Mishra secured victory after he received 3,83,246 votes. Mishra defeated his Congress opposition Sunderlal Tiwari by 1,68,674 votes.
