President Ramnath Kovind arriving in Jabalpur today

President of India, Ramnath Kovind, will arrive at Jabalpur by a special plane on Saturday morning. He will inaugurate a two-day symposium being hosted by Judicial Academy of Madhya Pradesh at Manas Bhawan in Jabalpur.

BHOPAL/JABALPUR: President of India, Ramnath Kovind, will arrive at Jabalpur by a special plane on Saturday morning. He will inaugurate a two-day symposium being hosted by Judicial Academy of Madhya Pradesh at Manas Bhawan in Jabalpur.
Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde and governor of Madhya Pradesh, Anandi Ben Patel have already arrived in the city on Friday evening.

Security at Jabalpur has been stepped up in the wake of presence of VVIPs in the city.
Directors, chairpersons and judges-in charge of 24 judicial academies from across the country will participate in the function. Bsides the CJI, other judges of the Supreme Court and high courts, chief justice of MP high court, governor, Anandiben Patel and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will also participate in the inaugural function.
The symposium will aim at sharing the innovative techniques of training to judges so as to make them more efficient and result-oriented.
Later, the President will participate in the Maha Aarti of "Ma Narmada" at Gwarighat at 6.30 pm and cultural programme and dinner organised on Jabalpur high court premises. The president will stay the night at Jabalpur circuit house.
He will visit Damoh the next morning before leaving for Delhi by the special plane at 10.50 am.
