Police remand of all accused extended

Bhopal: A court in Satna sent all the six accused in the kidnapping and murder case of the twins to 4-day police remand.

After their arrest, the accused were in custody for two days. The accused were produced in the court around 6pm on Tuesday and the police asked for extension of remand. Additional sessions judge N S Dabar granted it .

A huge crowd had gathered on the court premises, when the police van brought the accused to the court.

The six accused are: Raju alias Rakesh Dwivedi, Lucky Singh Tomar, Rohit Dwivedi and Ramkesh Yadav — all residents of Banda district in Uttar Pradesh; Pintoo Yadav, a resident of Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh, and Padm Shukla, a resident of Nayagaon, in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. They allegedly kidnapping the twin brothers from Chitrakoot and murdered them. The kids were kidnapped from a school bus when the twins were returning home.
