Police medals for 21 officers, personnel from MP
Bhopal: The ministry of home affairs has announced that four police officers and employees from Madhya Pradesh will receive distinguished service medals, while seventeen others will be awarded meritorious service medals. These honours will be presented during the Independence Day Ceremony on Aug 15, 2025.
The recipients of the distinguished service medals include IG (BNS) Makrand Deoskar, IG Himani Khanna, inspector Vir Vikram Singh Sengar, and inspector Nawab Khan, who were recognised for their exemplary contributions.
For meritorious service medals, seventeen officers and personnel were acknowledged for their outstanding service. These include IG Ruchi Vardhan Mishra, DIG Birendra Kumar Singh, AIG Vikrant Murab, additional DCP Shailendra Singh Chauhan, ASP Rakesh Khakha, AIG Vinay Prakash Paul, Inspector Pankaj Kumar Rajvaidya, inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma, inspector Manoj Bais, DSP Rituraj Gupta, Inspector Deepika Shinde, ASI Devbahadur Singh Parihar, ASI Satish Mandia, constable A Janaki Rao, SI Rajkumar Tiwari, SI Yogesh Kumar Sharma, and SI Hoshiyar Singh Thakur.
Among the awardees, two officers are from the Bhopal Police Commissionerate Additional DCP of the crime branch, Shailendra Singh Chauhan, and police control room In-charge, Manoj Bais, were included in the list.
