Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Bhopal to participate in the 300th birth anniversary celebrations of Ahilyabai Holkar. During the event, he will inaugurate several key infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh. At the event, held at Jamboree Ground with over 2 lakh women expected to attend, he will virtually inaugurate the Indore Metro’s first 6-km stretch, Satna and Datia airports, and lay the foundation for key infrastructure projects including 30 km of ghats along the Kshipra river (Rs 778.91 crore) and other water resource developments totaling Rs 863.69 crore. He will also release a postage stamp and a 35g Rs 300 coin—reportedly the first of its kind in the world—dedicated to Devi Ahilyabai, and present the National Devi Ahilyabai Award to a woman artist. Additionally, Modi will initiate funding for 1,271 new Atal Gram Seva Sadans worth Rs 483 crore and visit an exhibition showcasing Ahilyabai’s legacy in governance, empowerment, and culture. At the event, PM Narendra Modi will release a postage stamp and a Rs 300 denomination, 35g coin dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai — reportedly the first of its kind in the world. He will also present the National Devi Ahilyabai Award to a woman artist in tribal, folk, or traditional arts and visit a cultural exhibition on her legacy of governance and empowerment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Bhopal to participate in the 300th birth anniversary celebrations of Ahilyabai Holkar. During the event, he will inaugurate several key infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh.
Modi will virtually inaugurate Indore Metro's first 6-km stretch, part of a Rs 7,500 crore project covering 31.3 km, as well as Satna and Datia airports, marking significant strides in regional infrastructure development.
The PM will lay the foundation stone for the construction of 30 km of ghats along the Kshipra river in Ujjain under a Rs 778.91 crore project, aimed at facilitating devotees during Simhastha 2028, and will also launch water resource projects worth Rs 863.69 crore.
