Pharmacist among 3 held for trafficking banned drugs
Bhopal: The Crime Branch, Bhopal, arrested three accused, including a medical store operator identified as Ravi Sahu, for trafficking banned psychotropic pills worth Rs 25,000. Police said that Ravi Sahu, the pharmacy owner in Barkhedi, was held with 210 tablets. He operated the pharmacy with a license in someone else's name. The other two arrested are Vishal Bitore (24) from Govindpura and Anas Abdul (22) from Ambedkar Nagar. Both have multiple criminal cases registered against them and began trafficking after meeting in jail. The accused bought the drugs cheaply and sold them at high prices for illegal profits. A tip-off led police to trap Vishal with 150 tablets and Anas with 150 tablets. Case has been registered under the NDPS Act and MP Drug Control Act.
