Pet dog bites 65-yr-old man on scooter, owner booked
Bhopal: A 65-year-old farmer was allegedly bitten by a pet dog in the Parwalia area while riding his scooter. Parwalia police who registered a case against the dog's owner — identified as Santosh — for negligent handling, said that According to police, the complainant, Irfan Ahmed, 65, a resident of Shahpur village, was travelling towards Parwalia village around 5pm on Tuesday when the pet dog attacked him on the road and bit him on the lower part of his leg, causing a deep wound.In his statement to the police, Irfan said he earlier warned the dog owner Santosh to keep the dog in leash, but the owner failed to take any action. Based on this complaint, the police registered a case against Santosh under relevant sections and launched an investigation into the matter.
