BHOPAL: A former BJP corporator and his wife died by suicide after killing both of their sons, who were suffering from muscular dystrophy, in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday evening. Police identified the victims as Sanjeev Mishra, 45, wife Neelam, 42, Anmol, 13, and Sarthak, 7. They broke down the door and found the parents and kids lying unconscious.They took them to hospital where all four died within minutes of each other. Police say the parents fed poison to their sons and then drank it themselves.All four were found to be unconscious when they broke open the door. They took them to the hospital where all four died one after the other within a few minutes. They were cremated on Friday. The village is in mourning. The children suffered from the Duchenne form of muscular dystrophy, which rapidly weakens the muscles and is incurable.
