Besides, Pachmarhi is rich in both flora and fauna. People coming here from far off places want to have a peaceful time during their stay. Wellness will be an add-on facility for them. We want to attract the tourists to stay here and also get diagnosed if they have any ailment," added Shukla.

"The climate of the Pachmarhi has also made it ideal for making it a wellness hub. Tourists coming to Pachmarhi are not just on weekends only. Their presence is good in strength across the week which has made us realize how to make it a wellness hub in the state," said Shukla. The forests of Pachmarhi, especially in the summer, are densely forested with fruit trees such as mangoes, jamun, custard fruit, and lesser-known but delicious local fruits such as khatua, tendu, chunna, khinni, and chaar. The forest is also known for its abundance of medicinal plants and herbs. Pachmari's forest is also densely forested with oak and blue pine.
