Bhopal: No shortage of Oxygen and Remdesivir now, say officials

BHOPAL: Shortage of medical Oxygen and Remdesivir injections for Covids-19 patients in the hospitals has been taken care of and there is no complaint in this regard in the district, said the officials given the task of coordination for easy availability of the two important weapons in fight against the ongoing pandemic.
SDM, Akash Shrivastava, who was coordinating with the hospitals on their requirement for Remdesivir, while talking to TOI said , "Remdesivir is being provided to hospitals according to their requirement.The work is being seen by respective SDMs of different areas under the supervision of ADM, Maya Awasthi. Since the supply of Oxygen and Remdesivir is now smooth, we are concentrating on the task of vaccination.”
District administration has also started issuing a chart of Remdesivir distribution among hospitals -both government and private- every day. According to the chart issued on Wednesday, 1051 Remdesivir injections were provided to 125 hospitals on the day.
