Mystery gunshot during friendly chat, man dies in Rewa

Bhopal: A young man died of bullet wounds, when six ‘friends’ were sitting and chatting at the house of one of them in Rewa district on Monday night. Whether it was an accidental fire or murder is being investigated. Cops have rounded up two persons in this connection.
The accused, Sumit Singh Parihar, had called his 10 friends at his home for some discussions in Amihiya locality of the city at around 11 pm.While they were discussing a bullet was fired and it hit Sahil Mishra, 23, resident of Bicchiya village.
“As per primary information, Sumit had called all his friends to discuss some real estate work of his maternal uncle. All were sitting in the room. It was at that point of time that the bullet was fired. When the bullet was fired, the weapon was in the hand of Sumit Singh Parihar. The friends took Sahil to a hospital where he was declared dead. The moment doctors pronounced him dead, all others who brought him to the hospital fled. What led to the incident, whether it is an accident or murder, or what exactly is the motive will be clear only when the accused are arrested. Detailed investigations are going on. So far two accused have been rounded up,” SP Rewa, Vivek Singh told TOI.
