MP developing fast, investors’ summits promote state’s industrial activities: CM

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is developing rapidly on all fronts and investors' summits are being organised regularly at the regional level to promote industrial activities and investments in the state said chief minister Mohan Yadav on Friday talking to media before leaving for Kolkata to participate in the interactive session organised on immense investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Our effort is to showcase possibilities in MP for investors and industrialists from India and abroad to invest and engage in industrial activities. This will create more and more employment opportunities in the state.

Investors' Summits being held in different parts of the country provide an opportunity to communicate with industrialists and investors, solve their problems, and share information about the schemes run by the state govt to promote industrial activities. This becomes the basis of mutual dialogue, mutual trust, security, and future prospects. The state has benefited in a big way from the Investors' Summits held so far. After Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Coimbatore, the Invest MP interactive session is now going to be held in Kolkata. Yadav said to the media before leaving for Kolkata to participate in the interactive session organised on immense investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Yadav further said that the state govt is running activities in the form of a campaign to create employment opportunities for everyone, including youth and women, through small-scale industries, medium-scale industries, food industries, and IT parks. In continuation of the ongoing Investors' Summit at the regional level, the next summit will be organised in Sagar on September 27. Beedi and agarbatti industry was earlier taken up in every house as a cottage industry in the state; this was the special identity of the Sagar region. Presently, the mineral sector has also emerged as a major activity in the Sagar region. Earlier Regional Investment Summits have been organised in Ujjain, Jabalpur, and Gwalior. Summits organised at the regional level have helped in taking investment and industrial activities to the regional level.

Bhoomi pujas and inauguration of industrial units are going on in MP. Besides, through the Investors' Summit, we are also inviting and encouraging industrialists and investors to come to the state. The result of these efforts is that investment in all industrial sectors, including education and medical fields, has increased in Madhya Pradesh, and industrialists are enthusiastically willing to invest in the state.

Yadav said that there are ample opportunities available in the state for expansion and diversification of the activities of industrialists who are already working in the state. The state govt is committed to the expansion and development of activities in all sectors, including education, medical industry, mining, forestry, and tourism, by creating a positive environment with a cooperative attitude.
